<li>Collect and organize all care and use documents</li>
<li>Test all fixtures and appliances</li>

These including architectural, engineering, mechanical and electrical drawings including those necessary for permitting and construction, establishing the interior design approach and documenting the product selections within the product allowance budget. In more detail:<br/>

<li>Determine structural, mechanical and electrical requirements</li>
<li>Layout site requirements</li>
<li>Review plans with appropriate engineers</li>
<li>Develop room by room specifications</li>
<li>Create "allowance" worksheet and review with interior designer</li>
<li>Review all the above with client for approval</li>
<li>Adjust project scope and budget with client as necessary</li>
<li>Client meeting with interior designer for product selections</li>
<li>Obtain client approval on final product selections</li>
<li>Obtain final client approval on all designs and product selections prior to the development design step</li>
